Organizing

Andy got these old blocks from his parents house on Saturday. He was really excited to show them to Tyler and "build" something together. We left the room for a few minutes and when we came back this is what we found. Instead of building something Tyler had organized all of the blocks according to shape. All Andy had to say was "Thats your child."

Rockin Bryce

Bryce is now 5 months old. He's taken some big steps these past few weeks: falling asleep without the aid of Mom, rolling over both ways, sitting up without support for about a minute, and finally taking a bottle! Its made for a much happier house for everyone. Today I had Bryce in his swing in our bedroom while I cleaned a little. The batteries ran out on the swing a long time ago, but Bryce figured out how to swing it back and forth just by rocking his body. He was quite proud of himself.

Bryce's First Food

On Sunday night we introduced rice cereal to Bryce for the first time. His reaction was like he hadn't eaten in days. I couldn't get it in his mouth fast enough. Notice Tyler in the background desperately trying to get Andy and I's attention too.

Trick or Treat

Tyler was a dragon and Bryce was a bear for Halloween this year. We lucked out and had really good weather. We opted for the neighborhood's trunk or treat at the elementary school instead of going door to door and I'm a big fan now. You get to see all the neighbors and friends you'd want to see, it only takes about 30 minutes, you don't have to walk as far, you can socialize a little and once you're out of candy you leave. At least while our kids are little I think we'll be doing the trunk or treat.
Tyler loved to say "Raarr!" in his dragon costume. I found it at DI about a month ago. Only $10 and it fit him perfectly!

Our sweet little Bryce in his bear costume.
I can't get enough of this kid's giggles. We kind of think he looks like a monk here. Bald head, brown cape..
I thought they looked pretty handsome today at church so we had to get a shot. Its rare to get one with both of them smiling.
