We've been enjoying the fall colors in the east these past few weekends. Last Sunday afternoon we went for a short hike up in the "mountains." Tyler liked being our trail guide and was quite proud of himself for finding the way back to the car. BTW, no we did not get a dog. This is Brady, my parents dog, that we were dog sitting for the weekend while they were away.
I thought this picture turned out really good, for being taken with Andy's iphone.
Yesterday, we raked some leaves in our yard and the boys got to jump in the piles before we bagged up the leaves. I think we'll have a lot more days of raking leaves since we have 7 large trees in our yard and only one of them has dropped most of its leaves so far.
The boys had a hard time transitioning from playing in the leaves to helping clean up the leaves. Tyler kept jumping in the piles and scattering them. Bryce would help by putting one or two leaves in the bag at a time and say "They go Mom! (there ya go, mom)" Every little bit helps...
